Artist's Comments

So last night as I was coming home from lifedrawing I almost had the cops called on me by a TTC bus driver. in one hand I held a token and the other held pencil. I waved my arms in front of the door and the bus drier shook his head in protest. So I lifted both hands, to show I had a token in my hands. He then opened the door and said to as I dropped my token in "In sorry, I thought you were a homeless person with a screw driver. I nearly made a call." He mistook my pencil as an assault weapon. And that is how OC 8 got it's name. But she really is holding a weapon unlike me. :o

Oh well 12 more to go and counting...
P.S. I'm really like OC 9 :)

Head's kinda small, don't you think? looks kinda like a different version of Amy from RE4

A nuisance of my friend's once told him that religion clouds judgement. On the same note, a viewer of mine once expressed how he never understood how Christians can be so smart. "Christians = no intellegence"? More like "Ignorance = lack of observation"

Her legs are too long by half a head. I'm gonna shorten them later.

No I didn't loose any weight, the elastic is worn out.

would water colour paper work with gouache or is it better to use illustration board?
PS.
Nice Pic.
:iconpound-key:
hot press illustration board or cotton paper (yup water color paper). Paper that weighs more than 90 pounds would work. (i prefer 120-150) the heavier the paper the less it will buckle.

The water coulour paper I was using was crap and it made my painting look really bad, The colours kept getting messed up.

Then we could go to curry's a find you a good one. There is arches, but it costs a lot and then there is colmans (I think this is how you spell it.) But I would have to see your painting style to see if the problem could be the brush you use, the amount of water, and technique. Gouache is muddy and if you have a heavy hand you make mud on paper, that and it's easier to paint the BG first in a wash then paint the fore and middle ground solid.

It might be the amount of water. I'll try to use gouache again tomorrow after I come back from oakville.
